hello there!I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Animation with minors in Philosophy and Art History. After college, I was hired for a dream internship so I moved from my home state of Wisconsin down to Florida where I still live and work full time! When I'm not at Walt Disney World, I enjoy reading books, playing Animal Crossing, drawing, watching movies, and picking up new hobbies (recently i've learned to chrochet!)In addition to being a huge fan of anything and everything Star Wars, I'm also a huge Disney fan - specifically Disney Animation and Disney Parks. Ask me about Hollywood Studios and I'll be your friend forever because that's my favorite park. I participated in the Disney College Program as a PhotoPass Photographer in 2019 at Hollywood Studios and it was quite possibly the best decision I made in my entire life.

nice try....I told you there wasn't anything written yet!Lets see if this ever happens :,)

Han and Leia are literally perfect for each other and I'm going to write an essay on it.

from Scavenger to Savior

what Rey means to me

Rey Skywalker is easily the character I relate to the most in Star Wars. I see myself manifested in a scrappy girl in a galaxy far, far away - and it means the world to me. Beyond the hazel brown eyes and brown hair that always seems to whisp out around our faces, emotionally we are very similar.Rey was the person I needed to navigate my teenage years as well as my early 20's, and I can't thank Lucasfilm and Disney enough for giving me her to grow up alongside.

When the Star Wars Episode VII read through photo was posted, I was scarfing dinner down between school and civic theater rehearsal, supposed to be updating a prop and actor entrance list, but instead scrolling through tumblr. There had been rumors over the previous few days of seeing Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford all in England, and everyone felt that something big was going to happen. I distinctly first seeing Harrison Ford, and then scanning the photo for who else was present. The next person I recognized was Carrie Fisher, and then I laid eyes on the young woman sitting in-between them. I remember thinking who is she?. Daisy Ridley evidently, was her name, and everyone on the internet agreed that she must very be important if she got to sit between Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford during a Star Wars read through. Daisy was an absolute unknown at the time, and this was her first movie.

The Force Awakens (then known only as Star Wars Episode VII) read through photo that announced both that the Original Trilogy Cast would be returning, as well as all the new actors that were going to join in for the next trilogy.

This was literally the only photo of Daisy Ridley on the internet when the cast was announced. I remember looking at it for hours.

After that there was a lot of radio silence on who Daisy would be playing along with literally the entire plot of The Force Awakens (for good reason). I do distinctly remember watching the The Force Awakens trailers soaking up every frame with Daisy, and when they announced the characters 'Finn' and 'Rey's names on the Topps Star Wars Trading Card app however, and everyone was very weary of their lack of last names.Fast forward to December 17th, 2015 - the midnight premiere of The Force Awakens. I was clearly already a big fan of Rey (and had even received a Christmas ornament of her to put on the Christmas tree that year). In another distinct moment, I remember
